Baby Lucy

So, I realize that anyone on Facebook has probably seen these already. Still, I'm sure there are at least a few people who read my blog but aren't on FB...maybe? Lol. Anyhow. My good friend Laurie let me have the honor of photographing her sweet baby girl. It was awesome to get the practice, and Lucy was so cooperative! Overall, I am very happy with the way the session went and the way the photos turned out. (Notice how when it's snaps (snapshots), I say 'pics' but when it's a serious effort I say 'photos'? Hahahaha.) I still think I definitely have room for improvement, but a lot of that is just going to come with practice. I'm hoping that Laurie and Dwayne will let me come back again and help them document Lucy's growth!

Lucy is 7weeks old in these photos, and weighs almost 8lbs. She's so tiny because she was an early girl, but she's healthy! I actually have more photos, but I haven't found the time to go through them all yet. So here's some of the first ones.
