Mariners Game

Last Wednesday we went to a Mariners game. The kids had SO much fun! Well, Tristan did anyways. Naiyah was more or less just along for the ride. At least she did find all the people and commotion interesting. Tom and I were a little concerned that we'd be out too late since it fell on a work/daycare night, but Tristan was so excited to go that we just couldn't disappoint him.

Overall, we're glad we went. Tristan was absolutely mesmerized by the game. Naiyah was absolutely mesmerized by the FOOD. Haha that's my girl. Anyone who knows me well knows that the only real reason I like attending sporting events is for the stadium food!

The funniest moment for me was when I was waiting with Naiyah for Tom and Tristan to get back with our dinner. Naiyah was VERY hungry at that point (dinner was running a little later than usual due to all the excitement) and the guys seated behind us had gotten back before Tom. So she spent nearly two full minutes STARING at their food. Luckily her main target had kids about the same age and so was very understanding of the toddler voraciously eyeballing his food.

Although we had to leave before the end (Naiyah's patience and our food ended at about the 7th inning), I'm happy to report that not only did we have a great time, the Mariners also won the game. Hooray all around!
