Bloedel Reserve
Tom has a friend that recommended that we go to the Bloedel Reserve for a beautiful walk, and for an opportunity for me to play with my camera. So, a couple of weeks ago off we went. Yes, it's taken me until now to post photos and blog about the experience. Hush. =) It was on Bainbridge Island, so we had to take the ferry to get there. Tristan was in absolute heaven! When we got there, we ate at a little place we found (courtesy of my gps) called the Treehouse Cafe. I highly recommend them, their chicken artichoke pesto pizza was AMAZING! Since Tom bought a year membership to the place, we'll be heading back so I'm sure we'll lunch there again too. We also now have four free guest passes, so if anyone would like to take a day trip with us let me know! As a bonus, one of his friends came along with us, so there is actually a picture of our entire family. (I'm much too wary to let an average joe handle my camera - too much risk of damage to it and I don't have the funds to replace or fix it should the worst occur.) Again, no particular order to the photos since it's really not all that important and it's a lot of work. lol.
