A Great Weekend

Last weekend was pretty darn great. One of my good friends from high school was in town, so we spent lots of time hanging out. We're both shutterbugs with lofty aspirations, so it was a lot of fun and definitely interesting to engage in all the photo tech-talk that no one else ever wants to hear. Although some of it occasionally spills into my blogging! Anyhow, she also let me practice taking portraits of her and her boyfriend. Although we didn't have as much time as I would have liked, I think I got some pretty good shots from our mini-session. I'll post some below, if anyone has opinions or critiques, please feel free to share.

I'm definitely looking forward to hanging out again, whenever that might be. I see more photo sessions in our futures...next time, I get to be the subject!
