Gorgeous Hawaiian Skies...and Random Kid Photos

In Hawaii, they have a peculiar phenomenon known as 'vog'. Vog is volcanic fog. It looks remarkably like smog, and affects respiration in much the same way. How much of it Oahu gets apparently depends on which way the wind is blowing, since it's composed of fumes and such that emanate from the volcano on the Big Island. Overall, it's a big pain in the rear, but it does make for some PHENOMENAL sunsets. And of course I took photos of them. Plus a random cloud from the middle of the daytime that I thought looked pretty.

First though, here are a couple of my favorite 'artsy' photos of the kids and of Tom from the trip.

This one isn't artsy, it's just cute. The flower was tucked VERY loosely behind his ear, and I think he thought he could keep in place through the sheer force of his stare. I'm surprised he didn't give himself a headache doing this, haha.
And here are the sunset photos. =)
